1st Section of driveway poured

Today was D-day, the start of the finale for this project - the 1st section of driveway was poured in spectacular style. All hands were on deck and even some some extra help from ex-clams drummer - John Shortland was brought in to tackle this beast of a concrete slab.

Footing steel installed and a much needed arrival

Toe footing steel RW2 section was installed, excess dirt and rocks were taken away and the toilet arrived on site (very good news)

Final section prep day

Today was good to see that the final section of driveway was being prepared. There's a ton of steel in there and a massive drain in the middle section. All systems are go for the pour tomorrow and the weather is looking spectacular with mild 25 deg. day shaping up.
