3rd Section of driveway being prepared - day 3

The prep work for the 3rd and final section of driveway is complete. It's now ready to be poured on the 7th Jan 2013. Pete and his team have done an impressive form work design, maximizing the use of the very tight space there at the kerb.  It's going to look great!

Footing steel installed and a much needed arrival

Toe footing steel RW2 section was installed, excess dirt and rocks were taken away and the toilet arrived on site (very good news)

Wall cutting done, aggy pipe and behind-wall fill installed

Today was a big success, the rest of the wall was cut by allcoast saw cutting and the drainage behind the wall was installed. This consists of an aggy pipe with aggregate stones on top and finally soil as the final layer. Peter was able to use the stockpile of soil on site and ordered exactly the right amount of drainage gravel (10 meters) for the job. Well done Pete!
